Electrical Engineer
A well established company, based in Switzerland, is looking for a Jr. Power Electronics Engineer with knowledge in analog and digital circuit design, to be part of a new start-up division in the USA based out of Atlanta, GA. You will help launch their power inverter products in the US market. This is a great opportunity to work with state of the art technology, products and a well established company. Our client is only looking for candidates local to the Atlanta market.
Responsibilities
- Development of new and adaption of existing inverters for the US market
- Adapt existing or design new electronic circuits and design layouts of PCB
- Evaluate, test and document components (electronics, electromechanical, EMC filters)
- Regular exchange with the RD Team in Switzerland
- Documentation according to product development and testing process
- Follow the safety rules of the laboratory
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in analog and digital circuit design
- BSEE or MSEE
- Knowledge in SPICE and Matlab/Simulink simulations
- Any experience with PV inverters or drives would be a PLUS
- You must have excellent verbal written communication skills as you will be communicating regularly with the Engineering and RD team in Switzerland
- Experience in the commercialization of electronic products (mass production) would be a PLUS
