We have an immediate need for a ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION
6+ MONTH CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT
Responsibilities:
* Apply knowledge of electronics, PCB layout to electronic systems and products.
* Work closely with laser and optical detector product teams.
* Work in a customer contract environment that requires working towards defined statements of work and customer deliverables.
* End-applications include laser rangefinders, laser pointers, laser illuminators, sensors, cameras, control and interface hardware.
Required Education, Skills Experience:
* Electronic system design experience (component selection, schematic development, PCB layout)
* Electronic system test and debugging
* Background in electronics, board design, layout
* Microcontroller/digital signal controller programming experience (e.g. PIC) in assembly and/or C
* Bachelor level degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* 3-5 years work experience in a related field
Desired Skills Experience:
* Experience with PC control and interface
* SPICE simulation experience
