The Electrical Engineer includes aspects of design, analysis, and manufacturing. Electrical engineers support the manufacturing processes and equipment in the manufacturing facility by designing, specifying, purchasing and constructing electrical systems and components. Engineers are expected to spend a fair amount of time in hands-on activities. Interaction with all levels of employees will be encountered.

Responsibilities:
- Designs and acts as project manager in a manufacturing facility, supporting efforts to design, build, install, maintain, and modify our manufacturing equipment.
- Creates initial designs, conducts vendor/contractor management, and oversees installation and startup of projects that range from simple modifications of existing machinery to large-scale expansion projects.

- Provides hands-on involvement with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance personnel and gaining intimate knowledge of the process.

- Provides technical expertise in the maintenance, modification and installation of equipment and machinery in the tire manufacturing process.

- Takes part in all electrical related components to include:Various types of sensors, Controls (PLC), Motors, Drives, and Power Distribution

- Spends time in all facets of project management including: Economic justification, design, vendors/procurement, installation, start-up, and training.

Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering

- Three to seven years experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience with lighting, control components, process instrumentation, and discrete devices.
- Experience with maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems.

Qualifications

- BS in Electrical Engineering (or Technical Equivalent)

- Three to seven years experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience with lighting, control components, process instrumentation, and discrete devices.
- Experience with maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems.

- Experience with PLC Programming, HMI Design (Allen-Bradley)

- Experience with programming/installation of Servos and Drives

- Experience with Vision Systems and Robotics is preferable
