Electrical Engineer – High
Immediate need for a Staff Electrical Engineer with high-speed sensor development experience. This is a 6 to 12 month contract assignment in Hayward, CA.
Job Duties:
Design and debug high-speed circuitry associated with a new analog sensor under development.
Board-level design of analog and digital printed circuit boards to drive high-speed sensor (~pico-second pulse widths) and also signal conditional conditioning circuitry for data acquisition. Work with outside supplier who developed sensor to define sensor test requirements and resolve any system issues Collect data using the test setup at the laboratory on the sensor and system performance.
Requirements:
Experience with high-speed/high-frequency design (pico-second pulse signaling).
Experience with low-level analog interfacing of sensors.
Experience completing high-speed PC board designs.
Excellent testbench skills.
Familiarity using high frequency pulse generators, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, and data acquisition equipment.
Education:
BS. EE or higher.
