The Opportunity

They employ over 50,000 employees worldwide so unrivalled career opportunities are real. This position will be based at a Coal Export Terminal in North Qld just on the Whitsunday Coast.
The Position
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and you will be required to co-ordinate Terminal electrical maintenance projects to ensure that all legislative, reliability and operating requirements are met.
You will be supported by a dedicated team of professionals responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of coal loading facilities. You will also have superb communication skills due to dealings with contractors coupled with a high attention to detail.
The Requirements
A Heavy Industry or mining background is a must as well as Project Management and Export experience. Furthermore;
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience managing contractors
- High level of Technical Drawing understanding in large operations.
- Trade and post-trade qualifications (5 years experience)
- CMMS experience
- Exposure to Bulk Handling operations
The Incentives
You will be paid a base salary around $140,000 + 13% super. Every year you will be paid a bonus with the average being around $19,000. Housing assistance equates to around $20,000 before tax and they will fully pay your relocation to Bowen.
