Brief Description of Duties:

Under the direction of the Product Development Manager, the Electrical Engineer designs and develops electrical systems, software structures, digital and analog circuits for new and existing products.This includes development and documentation of design requirements, accurate functional design, planning, application, installation, operation, and maintenance. Supplies technical expertise in the product planning process and conducts research to solve and improve or develop new methods and approaches to practical engineering and product problems that ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness; in accordance with company policies and procedures.

–Performs product development and design activities, working with product divisions and customers to meet their specifications/requirements and to ensure the meeting of engineering standards. Investigates and recommends solutions to new and existing products.

–Perform product development and design activities that include embedded software, wireless data interfaces, and logic circuits, etc., working with customers to meet their specifications/requirements and to ensure the meeting of engineering standards.

–Responsible for the creation and maintenance of design specifications, schematics, BOMs, functional requirements documentation, qualification test plans, and production test plans.Conducts and participates in product/project design reviews.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a job related engineering field and three to five years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Experience with industrial controls products and systems are strongly preferred. Possess strong technical skills and the ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
