This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical engineer in a highly automated electric manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years experience and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a challenging industrial environment. Suitable experience might include a quarrying background or a heavy industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment background.
Must have experience of medium voltage industrial and electrical motors (3.4 MW) and experience of high torque motors.
Ideally the person may have worked in quarries are in the construction sector or in a production facility.
It is essential to have inverter experience on large and electrical industrial motors.
Common sense and initiative are absolutely essential in this role.
The role is from 8 to 5 Monday to Friday but that person must be available for callout 24 seven.The individual must be a good team player, clear communicator and have a strong interest in developing their skills. This is initially a fixed term six-month contract with a view to permanency. Salary is in the region of €30,000 plus.
