Cadence Capture Experience with SAP, MSAccess or similar database systems Experience with component thermal analysis AutoCAD Specific Job Description We are seeking an organized and detail oriented individual with higher education in electronics or related sciences. The candidate shall have a demonstrated interest in electronic components and reliability. The candidates shall be well versed in electrical design parameters. It is desirable for the candidate to have knowledge of past and present electronic component package styles and/or bare die hybrid packaging. The candidate shall be capable of basic circuit analysis to determine component stresses. Responsibilities include: Lead Component Failure Investigations Implement pure Tin testing and mitigation of components Research and determine impact of GUIDEP alters Generation of formal reports for plastic encapsulated device (PED) status and component obsolescence status Lead qualification of COTS parts for high reliability military applications Perform electronics circuit reliability calculations Researching component termination styles, plastic encapsulation styles and component construction processes Performing component stress analysis IAW with military de-rating guidelines Generation of Vendor Identification Drawings, Source Control Drawings and Altered Item Drawings Researching and answering any other questions related to electroninc component reliability Researching and tracking component obsolescence status Present and review electrical component reliability information with customers. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Security Clearance Secret Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
