RadiaBeam Technologies is a rapidly growing RD and manufacturing company specializing in the field of particle accelerator technology. Current areas of work include advanced accelerators for industrial and medical applications, novel radio frequency (RF) structures, and instrumentation and diagnostics for scientific research facilities.
RadiaBeam is hiring a Electrical Engineer to support the ongoing experimental RD and Sales projects of its RF division.
The requirements for the position are:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field + at least 2 years of experience.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hardware assembly skills
- Basic understanding of control systems, electronics, and computer networks.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including standard office software. Experience with advanced computer data analysis software a plus.
- Experience working with high voltage
Job duties will include:
- Assembling, tuning and cold testing RF structures (e.g. waveguides)
- Design and assembly of electronic circuits
- Assembly and cleaning of UHV accelerator components
- Assistance with research proposals and reports
- General lab support
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- RF measurements with vector network analyzer
- Instrument control and data acquisition with Labview
- Particle accelerator technology
- High voltage equipment
- Radiation generating equipment
- Pulsed power systems
- RF and microwave tubes and devices
- High power solid state circuits, devices, or systems
