Essential Responsibilities:
- Learn how to run standard audio tests on Audio Precision analyzer. Perform tests and document results for Engineers.
- Assist Engineers with EMC troubleshooting development tests and perform modifications on audio amplifiers as directed.
- Simulate and Breadboard simple interface circuits. Test and document results.
- Take bench measurements using oscilloscopes and DMM as directed by Engineer.
- Perform amplifier testing for function, audio parameters and special data logging in thermal chambers.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Education: College Sophomore Standing EE, EET, BSCS, or BS Physics program, minimum.
1. Experience: Prefer an enthusiastic audiophile with audio or other hands-on electronic experience. This should include circuit building or modification and soldering experience. Embedded HW/SW interest/experience.
1. Certifications: Student IEEE member. Relevant course work including laboratory experience.
Physical Demands:
· MANUAL DEXTERITY
o Soldering skills including SMT components.
· PHYSICAL EFFORT
o Should be able to move equipment racks between workbenches.
· WORKING CONDITIONS
o Ordinary office and engineering lab environment.
· HAZARDS
o Soldering and related conditions. Handling hot or cold products during testing.
