Lineworkers and Glove Barrier Lineworkers

Based in Tasmania you will undertake Line / Live Line construction,
and maintenance activities on major, and minor, distribution projects in Tasmania and Victoria. Experience with LV, HV and/or EHV construction, and maintenance practices is essential.

Applicants must also possess a current Tasmanian Practitioners Licence and ability to work well under pressure, and leading small teams, whilst maintaining a strong commitment and understanding of Health and Safety Issues.

These positions are based in Hobart and Launceston.

Electrical Fitter Mechanics

Based in Launceston, you will undertake electrical trade/non-trade and civil construction activities on major, and minor, distribution and transmission projects across Tasmania. Applicants must possess an A Grade Electrical Licence, be capable of working well under pressure, and a commitment to Health and Safety is a must.

Applicants with experience in a combination of metal fabrication, installing and maintaining transformers, oil management, and experience with fibre optics would be highly desirable but not essential.

Crew Leader

The Crew Leader supports the work of frontline employees by managing the technical and scheduling duties for their work team. They must be able to demonstrate, safe working practices, and the ability to lead, provide direction, support, and feedback for all team members
to facilitate delivery of quality outcomes in the achievement of Client and Jemena Contracting Services objectives. Extensive experiencein construction/maintenance and operation of electrical assets and Electrical Trade Qualifications is required.

Applicants must also possess a current Tasmanian Practitioners Licence and ability to work well under pressure and leading small teams, whilst maintaining a strong commitment and understanding of Health and Safety Issues.

Construction Manager
Manage resources, budget, assets, projects, and staffing to improve operational efficiencies and performance.
Plan, organise, and support field activities within specific projects/jobs, and provide supervisory support and leadership to both internal and sub-contract resources.
To plan, organise, and control field activities within specific projects; ensuring delivery expectations of customer service, quality and safety are met in a timely and profitable manner. To ensure work practices and procedures are inline with Company Policies, Quality System, and statutory safety requirements.
Applicants must also possess a current JI500097 Tasmanian Practitioners Licence. Having the ability to work well under pressure, while leading small teams and maintaining a strong commitment and understanding of Health and Safety Issues, as well as providing project management support to both internal and sub-contract resources, are a must.
