This position is to assist in providing planning, coordination, and scheduling of maintenance and reliability of all production and support equipment within the Harrison Cast Products complex. This position will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance and reliability efforts though a systematic planning and scheduling process. Assist in improving equipment and the process of reliability by analyzing complex reliability problems and determining cost-effective methods of correcting or improving the equipment within a limited time-frame. Application of Failure Analysis and CI principals are critical in this area to ensure the best business decision is made when determining the method of repair. Increased efficiency of maintenance associates by providing a more structured work environment via the computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) that includes job orders with descriptive work scopes, job priorities, methods / procedures to implement, materials/special tools/equipment required to complete tasks, safety instructions/procedures, and technical resource requirements with estimated completion times. This efficiency improvement process is enhanced by the development of work standards and measures to track the performance of the maintainers and the reliability of the equipment. Job order schedule coordination with the Operating Schedule that minimizes planned and unplanned downtime; assigns jobs based on priority of repairs and individual associate skills; includes the use of contractors to supplement the base workforce or perform specialized repair tasks; assures timely completion of preventive and predictive jobs to optimize the equipment reliability. Assist on major repair downturns/shutdowns performed to a specific budget and schedule. Communicates with Operations Management to determine maintenance needs. Communicates with the supplier's designate to plan the required resources and evaluates the effectiveness of the contracted workforce. Assist with communicates on a frequent basis with Operations Management, Reliability Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and reliability associates to determine job priorities and timing of implementation. This communication includes the development of future capital and expense budget items. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in electrical or mechanical or business. Preferred Requirements: Bachelors Degree in electrical or mechanical or business and 2+ years experience in heavy industrial maintenance area. Previous Job Experience in Mech, Elect, Hydraulics and 5+ years of experience. Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 15%
