ELECTRICAL MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS Job in Merseyside, North West UK
Due to ongoing investment into the plant and an increase in engineering numbers, we are currently recruiting a number of Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the team on a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern.
The successful candidates will have served a full electrical or multi-skilled apprenticeship and will have at least 5 years maintenance experience in a fast moving, continuous process manufacturing environment.
Our client is looking for strong, technical engineers and experience in the following areas is preferred:
- Ability to attend to both electrical and mechanical breakdowns and candidates MUST be able to fault find on PLC's, ideally Siemens S7. (Any programming experience is advantageous.)
- Experience of process control via PLC's, PC's, motors, drives, control systems, conveyor systems
- Installation and commissioning experience
- Project experience
- Experience of fault finding on high speed packaging machinery - Any experience working on bottlers, fillers, cappers, palletisers or similar is advantageous.
More importantly, you must be able to demonstrate excellent fault finding skills, a logical thought process and a strong work ethic.
