Electrical Project Engineer
Kelly Services is currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer! This is a DIRECT HIRE position located in Fairfield, CT! Out client is a very well known, international company. The company has been growing since the 1890s! The purpose of this role is to specify, design, implement, debug, and document electrical controls and instrumentation for new and existing PLC based, high speed, high volume, multiple small part assembly process and packaging equipment in compliance with company, national, and international standards. The position will also support manufacturing by assisting with difficult troubleshooting problems on electrical control systems. The position also includes writing and interpreting technical specifications and handling project planning and tracking. The selected candidate will be experienced in applying technologies that include power distribution, motion control, robotics, industrial application of various sensors, machine vision, high speed data acquisition, MMI, manufacturing information systems, software and hardware development across various platforms (PLCs, PC, etc). Experience writing and interpreting technical specifications are also necessary. Experience with Windows Office and PLC ladder logic, Visual Basic, C++, Siemens S7, and Allen Bradley PLC is preferred. A BS degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience with the application of PLCs and PCs for control, instrumentation, and data acquisition in a manufacturing environment are required.
