Electrical Project Engineering

An opening currently exists for an Electrical Project Engineer. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the design, installation and start-up of equipment associated with various Capital projects. 

 

 

Job Description

·         The Project Engineer will also provide technical support to the production and maintenance groups

·         Designing machine modifications and trouble-shooting equipment-related problems with the aim of improving overall safety, quality and productivity.

 

 

Qualifications for these positions include:

·         B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering: professional designation preferred, with a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.

·         Project-oriented: able to develop and maintain project time lines and budgets for major capital projects: ability to supervise and motivate others, including subcontractors, in a team environment.

·         Experience designing and improving electrical equipment, facilities, and systems within an industrial environment.

·         Good understanding of plastic extrusion and converting equipment is an asset.

·         Engineering Technologists with relevant experience may also be considered
