Electrical Supervisor
Well established client located in the state of Georgia has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineering Supervisor for their packaging line. Key responsibilities will include development of staff and ensuring the integrity of the packaging line electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems. Focus areas will also include overall reliability and up time of the packaging equipment and engineering support to the shift based production teams.
Responsibilities
- Asset management to include development of staff
- Oversee packaging reliability
- Oversee packaging optimization
- Team leadership
Requirements
- B.S. Electrical Engineering or related technical degree and equivalent experience
- Prior production, engineering, and electrical experience in a line management position with responsibility for development and performance evaluation of staff
- Solid understanding of maintenance management and asset care
- Basic understanding of machine design and high speed manufacturing operations
- In-depth understanding of electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems
- Leadership and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of high speed packaging equipment
- Ability to work with computer-based work order systems such as Maximo
