Job Description:
Electro-Mechanical
1. Good in-depth knowledge in the following specialty areas:
¿ Product function fundamentals at both component and system levels.
¿ Safety policies and practices regarding operation of high pressure and high voltage equipment including hot surfaces and moving parts.
¿ Specialized electronic devices such as transducers, sensors, actuators.
¿ Inspection of prototype electronic components, assemblies, instrumentation and test equipment.
¿ AC and DC control circuit fundamentals.
2. Basic working knowledge of the following specialty areas:
¿ Standard electrical and electronic components in analog and digital circuits.
¿ Electric motor applications and controls.
¿ Methods for trouble-shooting electronic circuits.
¿ Electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering drawings.
3. Demonstrated mastery skills in the following specialty areas:
• Fabrication of prototype electronic parts and modules using specialized hand tools and soldering.
• Assembly of prototype electronic control modules and systems.
• Perform a variety of electronic component and module performance and endurance tests.
• Advanced troubleshooting of electrical / electronic/ pneumatic control circuits.
4. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively communicate at all levels within PCD and RCD divisions, with suppliers and with customers.
5. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage time to complete simultaneous assignments in a matrix, team environment.
6. Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions, applying good technical judgment.

Job Experience:
a) Comply with OSHA, EPA, other regulations and housekeeping and safety rules applicable to job activities.
b) Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and modules from drawings, sketches, parts lists, or verbal instructions.
c) Take initiative to notify Engineers of any prototype fit-up problems or suggestions to improve the design for ease of manufacturing and assembly.
d) Perform component, subassembly and electronic module testing.
e) Ensure safety of all personnel and equipment in the Engineering lab and at other locations while conducting tests.
f) Assist in resolving warranty and field problems and internal quality problems.
g) Maintain lab test equipment and lab calibration equipment to be productive and to present a positive image to customers and suppliers.
h) Assist Engineers and managers to achieve departmental and divisional goals.

Knowledge: Indicate the minimum level of formal education and work experience which is required to carry out the responsibilities of this position. Formal Education Requirement:
Two year technical degree (AAS) in electronics or electro-mechanical speciality
Computer skillsets in MS Office – Excel Word

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:
Four years progressive experience as an Electrical Technician or in an area of relevant technology.

Minimum Education Required: High School

Years of Experience Required: 3-5 Years
