Electrical Technician III Job in Mossville, Illinois Us

Basic Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must have high school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
2. 5+ years experience as a Facilities Electrician in an industrial, manufacturing, or large construction environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1. 2+ years experience with large industrial lighting projects.
2. Proficient with electrical testing devices such as multi-meters, meggers, etc.
3. 1+ years experience working with boom, scissor, and personal lifts.
4. Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing cranes and hoists.
5. Experience troubleshooting and repairing motors and motor control circuits.

This position may require a valid Driver's License.
All positions with URS will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
All positions with URS may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

Physical Requirements
*Have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
*Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
*Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
*Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
*Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
*Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
*Have the ability to walk extensively through out the plant for shift.
*Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

*Coping with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Job Description:
URS has an Electrical Technician III (2nd shift) position available at our Mossville, Illinois facility!

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, installation of new lighting fixture and removal and proper disposal of old, provide facility electrical support to maintenance team, etc. Must have experience working in various types of aerial lifts. Must be comfortable working at levels of 40 feet in aerial lifts.
