A fantastic opportunity has arrived for three Electrically Biased Electrical/Instrumental Engineers to join a leading Pharmaceutical manufacturer on an 18 month contract based in Liverpool, Merseyside.
As Electrical/Instrumental Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
- To carryout planned and unplanned maintenance and repair of equipment meeting relevant standards and in accordance with the site maintenance processes
- Maintain plant throughput targets and ensure equipment availability
- All appropriate records are completed to reflect the history of work carried out (electronic and paper)
- Improvement activities and workshop housekeeping routines
- Support all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements to ensure safe execution of maintenance activities
- Preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance support for manufacturing equipment and auxiliary systems
- To have a good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures
- To investigate equipment failures and support activities necessary to improve equipment reliability
The successful candidates will have completed a recognised time-served electrical/instrumental apprenticeship and come from backgrounds in Pharmaceuticals, Food, FMCG, Chemical or other industries implementing cGMP.
Electrical/Instrumental Engineers will have experience of maintenance practices in a cGMP regulated environment.
They will have demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills.
Be familiar with Environmental and Health Safety requirements.
