- To troubleshoot and repair all Process and / or Packaging equipment as necessary with as minimal amount of down time as possible 35%
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment as required 25%
- Make sure safety regulations, set down by the company, as well as state and federal agencies, are adhered to and to ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed as needed to conform with such regulations 10%
- To work with Maintenance Supervisors, contractors, and other electricians to learn as much as possible about unfamiliar equipment (taking out equipment manuals and reading is very helpful and a must) 10%
- Assist in installation of new equipment 20%
- Perform other duties as determined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Must be at the workstation at the beginning of the shift.
- Must continuously follow all safety policies and procedures on the job.
- For safety and business purposes, must have communication skills including reading, writing and must be able to communicate to others as well as be able to receive communication from others.
Job Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Familiarity with company, state and federal safety regulations as well as the local, state and federal electrical code standards.
- Requires 3 to 5 years of experience with industrial electrical applications.
- Working knowledge of 3 Phase motors and controls.
- Basic working knowledge and understanding of PLC (inputs, outputs and logic).
- Experience in drawing and reading basic prints (line to line diagrams).
- Basic knowledge of schematics, and PLC line diagrams.
JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Follow instructions of the maintenance supervisor, maintenance manager, department supervisors and department managers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must read schematics and PLC line diagrams.
JOB LOCATION: Dyersburg Plant; including roof, all outside areas of the plant and other facilities away from the main plant.

- Current MVR report.
- Must pass Forklift Certification including JLG (aerial working platforms).
