Electro-Mechanical Engineer

We are currently partnering with a Semiconductor Company in Carlsbad seeking an Electromechanical Engineer who will be designing capital machinery. Job Duties: Responsible for designing, defining, implementing system requirements, analyzing and/or testing company products. Coordinates subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May conduct feasibility studies on new and modified designs. May direct support personnel in preparation of detailed design, design testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing. Specific responsibilities: - High quality custom solutions developed on schedule and according to customer expectations. - Execution of machine buyoffs that meet technical requirements and exceed customer expectations. - Rapid development of custom designs to meet customer delivery expectations. 100% of units shipped. - On-time to schedule and 90% on-time to customer request. - Technical escalation support for the Field Service organization. Identification of replacement parts. Minimum qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS): - Bachelor degree, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering - 2 years minimum experience required, 2-7 years preferred Preferred Skills: - SolidWorks design experience - Project management; prioritization and organization of diverse tasks/projects - Hands-on machine shop experience - Familiarity with Bills of Materials, Engineering Change Orders and other manufacturing systems and processes - Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system, Data Flo preferred
