-Flexibility to work different shift
-Strong electronics/electrical background and mechanical knowledge
-Good understanding of computer program functionality and software skills
-Ability to use standard and specialized hand and power tools and measuring equipment i.e. oscilloscopes, DMM, gauges, etc.
-Good analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawing and documentation
-Good project management skills and time management skills
-Strong interpersonal/customer relations skills
-Basic computer skills: DOS, Windows, UNIX
-Experience with mail processing or related equipment a plus
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maximize customer uptime by troubleshooting and repairing more complex inserting and sorting mail processing equipment problems.
Maintain customer equipment by scheduling and performing regular predictive/preventive maintenance inspections on equipment.
Provide support by managing parts inventory, customer service calls and preventative maintenance schedules.
Foster positive customer relations and a high degree of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively with customers. Act as a liaison between the customer and other departments/functions of the company.
Provide seven (7) day/week twenty-four (24) hour/day availability for emergency customer assistance by carrying a blackberry; respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals.
Look for new ways to improve the timeliness and quality of the level of service provided.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate with 2 year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training with 1+ years related industry/equipment experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree a plus.
