ELECTROMECHANICAL DESIGNERS
Our client, a leading Engineering Firm seeks experienced Mechanical Designers with CATIA 5 experience.
Minimum Education Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5 years minimum relevant aerospace or automotive design experience
3 - 5 yrs. relevant experience in sheet metal or welded parts design
MUST have at least 1 year experience working with CATIA 5
Knowledge of GDT, Design for Manufacturing, VE/VA, DOE, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Duties and Responsibilities
Part proposal drawing: starting from rough design concepts up to detail/final drawings, Responsible for all drawing information including: tolerance/fits, GDT specifications, dimensional stacks and surface finishes.
Participates in engineering meetings and is fundamentally involved in the FMEA creation.
Attends meetings with customers, with respect to design/launch reviews.
