Volt Technical Resources has an opportunity in Eugene, OR for an Entry Level Electronic Engineering Technician who will be needed to provide technical support to Engineering and Technical Personnel by performing studies and tests of substantial variety and evaluate and present results necessary to control the proper analysis and integrity of engineering projects. The Technician will have design and implementation responsibility for assigned projects. The role provides technical expertise in assisting Project Managers and other Engineering Personnel in implementing projects, supporting field maintenance crews and other related engineering activities.
This is an estimated 1 year Contingent/Temporary position in Eugene, OR and offered through Volt Technical Resources, which is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Requirements:
Electronic Engineering Technician Qualifications:
- 6 months to 4+ years of experience in Electronic Engineering Technician or in a Technical/Engineering environment.
- Proficiency in use of CAD software including Microstation CAD software is required.
- A College Degree in the area of Engineering Technician, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field or any equivalent combination of education is desirable. Also, experience which provides similar knowledge, skills and abilities is required.
- Ability to analyze and effectively document large volumes of technical data is required.
- Ability to participate and perform effectively in a Project Team environment and effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities.
- Must demonstrate the ability to design, analyze and implement projects from concept through completion.
- Skilled in oral and written communication to effectively fulfill client/customer/team requirements.
- Ability to analyze and effectively document large volumes of technical data is essential.
- Demonstrated experience participating in and performing effectively in a project team environment.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
- Personal Protection Equipment is required: ASTM F2413-05, Class 75EH rated footwear with over the ankle lace up and rigid sole and heel and White Hard Hat; including a Valid Driver's License.
