Electronic Publishing Manager, Marketing recruitment

Basic Purpose:

Oversees digital content publishing and efulfillment across Eaton Vance.  Manages the overall workflow, governance and quality control for distribution of the company’s digital literature displayed on the firm’s Websites, intranet and mobile devices. Identifies requirements for digital publishing and fulfillment enhancements and implements service improvements in order to drive overall customer experience and scale.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manages current inventory process of digital documents and establishes standards for document expirations.
  2. Responsible for quality control for the uploading of all literature through the media manager.  Anticipates issues in advance and comes up with effective solutions to keep publishing of key documents on schedule by submission teams.
  3. Documents, maintains and updates standard workflow procedures related to the company’s digital publishing processes; provides training to internal stakeholders on tagging, document naming standards and uploading best practices.
  4. Serves as eLibrary and Media Manager help desk, and manages in-bound requests concerning web based publishing across Eaton Vance business units.
  5. Oversees and tracks online downloading, eSubscriptions (eAlerts) and online ordering from web and mobile devices. 
  6. Provides weekly, monthly and quarterly audit checks on EV digital pdf libraries, web sites, eLibrary and other related systems / processes. Maintains all procedures and ensures all requirements are met. Serves as the main point of contact for compliance and internal audit.
  7. Facilitate ongoing communication and improved systems integration and enhancements between firm and other technology vendors (e.g. multi-screen formatting)
  8. Work with current vendor and potential future vendors to evaluate new technologies as they arise, document the details and make recommendations regarding how the technology could enhance our workflow and efficiencies.
  9. Oversee special projects and other duties as requested.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years digital asset management and/or inventory/fulfillment management in mutual fund, asset management or financial services firm.
  3. Ability to make comprehensive and complex decisions.
  4. Excellent and effective organizational skills and process management.
  5. Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  6. Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  7. Proficient with computers and computer software.  Microsoft Suite experience required.
  8. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
