Job 1-Linux Engineer Base up $125k + Bonus
Global trading solutions technology firm seeks an experienced Linux infrastructure engineer for a high-performance, mission-critical environment. Engineer will own and lead infrastructure projects to completion with transparency and provide operational support as needed.
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting Linux (CentOS preferred) in a production environment
- At least 2 years experience in an infrastructure/desktop support capacity
- Active Directory and LDAP integration experience
- Shell programming and automation
- Good communication skills
- Strong Operations and Implementation management skills
- Strong work ethic, hands-on mentality and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a small and highly collaborative team environment
Job 2- Trade Support Base up to $100k + bonus
Elite proprietary trading derivative shop needs desktop support engineer. Candidates should be comfortable working in a small, fast-paced environment where they are asked to wear many hats.
Required:
- Windows Desktop (Windows 7 etc…)
- Windows Server (2003 / 2008 / 2008 R2)
- Trading Desk Experience.
- Excel knowledge needed
- Market Data vendors
- Basics about networking (tcp/ip, udp)
- Can work alone
- Can manage their project space
- Detail and goal oriented
- Preferred: Basic Linux (RHEL, Cent OS, Ubuntu, etc..) and programming / scripting knowledge
