Electronics Technician Job in Kapolei 96707, Hawaii US

Job Description:

·         Responsible for testing digital and analog circuits, electronic assemblies and subassemblies.

·         Perform acceptance testing of assemblies and subassemblies utilizing various test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and DMM.

·         Operate environmental test equipment such as Vibration Table, Temperature Chamber, Altitude Chamber, etc.  

·         Mechanical Assemblies: Duties require the use of manual and powered hand tools, hardware identification and installation, use of measuring devices such as calipers, depth gauges, gap gauges, etc., and the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.

·         Printed Circuit Board Assemblies: Duties require proficiency with circuit plotters, soldering irons/stations, DMMs, and skill in installation of surface mount and through-hole technology components, including microminiature integrated circuits.

·         Apply conductive and nonconductive coatings and platings to circuit boards and enclosures

·         Support RD Department as needed.

·         Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

·         Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year college or university program in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or Electro-mechanical Technology.  (Equivalent training in the Military and/or 3 - 5 years experience may be substituted for an Associate’s Degree)

·         Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, component datasheets, wiring diagrams and block diagrams.

·         Will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

·         Computer skills; able to use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).

·         Strong attention to detail.

·         Ability to maintain various records with accuracy.

·         Ability to work with multiple tasks.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·         Work well in teams.

·         Candidate must be able to follow directions carefully, both in verbal and written instructions.

·         Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal) to interface with individuals at all levels of the company.

·         Requires technical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eye sight, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

·         Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; talk; reach; climb stairs; stoop; crouch; listen; vision capable of reading, viewing a computer screen and inspection of small electronic components; may occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Desirable Qualifications:

·         Two to three (2 - 3) years experience in assembly and testing of RF and/or digital circuits. 

·         Knowledge in Digital Technology.

·         Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, workmanship standards.

·         Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management system.
