Electronics Technician Job in Monroeville 15146, Pennsylvania US

Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Electronics Technician on a long term contract opportunity with a leading company in the Murrysville, PA area.

Education/Experience: Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, with a minimum of 2 years work experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong understanding of laboratory measurement equipment and methods.

  • Possess experience in conducting testing and documenting test results.

  • Have a basic understanding of electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, electrical and mechanical assembly

  • Must be computer literate, with MS Word and Excel.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, and evaluate technical problems.

    • Nice to have skills:

  • A basic understanding of Environmental Chambers and Basic LabVIEW is preferred, but not required

  • Experience with SAP data entry is a plus.

    • Job Duties:

  • The candidate must be able to use various pieces of test equipment in conjunction with the ability to follow test procedures to produce testing results that can be compared to expected test results to determine acceptance of the device under test.

  • Must be able to work individually as well as in a group.

  • Willing to expand their knowledge and understanding of methods to test products.

  • Able to develop appropriate test scenarios and test setups as they become familiar with the companies processes.
