Electronics/Software Engineer

We are currently searching for an experienced Electronics/Software Engineer for our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.

 

Job Summary:

Hunter’s Electronics Engineers are integral members of the Research and Development design team, where ingenuity and creativity are encouraged and recognized.  The Research and Development Department drives Hunter Engineering, and is held in highest regard within the company.  The Electronics Engineers’ advanced designs have kept Hunter at the forefront of the industry.

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

 

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

·         Minimum of 3 years experience designing and developing advanced microprocessor-based embedded systems from inception to production.

·         Minimum of 3 years experience in C++ and C#/.NET development for Windows.  Linux C++ and GTK experience is a plus.

·         Experience working on large software projects in a team-based environment is preferred, as is Microsoft TFS experience.

·         Experience developing systems in C, C++, and assembler using a Windows-based development environment.

·         Advanced knowledge of sensing technologies, analog electronics, image processing, and machine vision is preferred.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Perform new product research and conceptual design.

·         Design microprocessor-based digital and analog circuits, along with the corresponding firmware.

·         Develop new product software.

·         Perform system tests to validate product specifications.
