Position Description:
TITLE: Emerging Markets Trade Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Portfolio Management Trade Support
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will directly assist the Emerging Markets Portfolio Managers. Duties will include: Performance/Risk/Allocation analysis for accounts, trading analytics, ad-hoc reporting, EM position management and Trade Flow monitoring. Other responsibilities include assisting the Portfolio Managers with research and analysis on specific investment strategies, preparing client and internal presentation materials, and conducting performance attribution studies.
QUALIFICATIONS
A qualified candidate must possess a minimum of two years of Front Office Emerging Markets Trading support and or Portfolio Management support experience, a four-year degree in accounting, business, finance or economics. Must possess strong communication skills, analytical ability, and excellent attention to detail. Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work in a high pressure environment and work in a team environment. Advanced working knowledge of the following business applications is required: Excel, database applications, Bloomberg.
