Scope of position:

Conceives and executes Email Marketing programs to increase customer acquisition, retention, and conversion rates. Develops communication plans; segmentation strategies; and online offers. Evaluates effectiveness of email communications. Works with design and copywriting teams on creative treatments. The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the Analytics and Product Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of the email strategy, email test plan and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the complete email strategy, from campaign creation to measurement.
• Improve deliverability, reduce spam complaints and increase open and click through rates.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to create top-performing email creative and corresponding landing pages.
• Drive innovation in the company through development of advanced email strategies, such as preferences, segmentation, dynamic content, and triggered emails.
• Collaborate with analytics team to create test plans, measure performance, report results and make optimizations based on findings.
• Work with Email Producers to help streamline production process, eliminate redundancies and create efficiencies.
• Manage day-to-day relationship with email vendor.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 4 to 6 years experience (minimum of three years in the email marketing space)
• Hands-on and in-depth experience across the end-to-end email marketing process
• Experience with Epsilon’s Dream platform a must
• Understanding of design and implementation issues affecting email deliverability and customer engagement
• Experience in database marketing, list segmentation and LTV analysis
• Expertise in email regulations, e.g. CAN-SPAM
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with email providers/clients like Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, Outlook and Yahoo.
• Understanding of basic web technology including HTML, APIs and SEO
• Ability to troubleshoot and edit HTML code
• Hands-on experience with a variety of email service providers like Epsilon, etc.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Passion for new web marketing technology, services and business models a must.
