Embedded Quality Assurance Engineer Job in Dallas 75252, Texas US

We are looking for an energetic and detail oriented quality assurance professional who will work as an embedded member of the Motio product engineering teams to improve the quality of our software and the experience of our end users.
Candidates will be expected to:
- Help to test and harden new features in Motio products
- Provide valuable, end-user focused feedback on emerging product ideas
- Assist in recreating issues reported by end users
- Serve as a liaison to our Motio user communities
- Help customers with remote installations
- Help with product documentation
- Record videos of our software in action
- Have the opportunity to provide product training to Motio customers
Key skills and experience required:
- An Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or other Technical degree is preferred
- Applicants must be VERY team-oriented
- Applicants have no problem diving into technology: you may be asked to create virtual images, install databases, application servers, IBM Cognos, etc.
- Ability and desire to learn new things
- Minimum of 2 years experience in QA
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of IBM Cognos is a big plus
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with Linux / Unix is a plus
