Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 (Dep. on experience) + Benefits

The Role:

You will be:

- Working on the design and development of robust, capable and reliable equipment and instrumentation for the healthcare / medical / medtech industries
- Carrying out software, firmware and electronics development for high-volume medical products
- Supporting the business development activities relevant to Team's software and hardware offering
- Participating in core medical device product development projects - e.g. brainstorms, risk assessments, design development, design testing, sales meetings / presentations

What you need to have:

- Honours degree in Software Engineering, Electronics or similar
- Experience and track record in development of software and hardware for medical systems and/or devices
- Exposure to multi-discipline development projects and flexibility and willingness to take on a range of project roles and technical work
- Embedded software development throughout the project life-cycle including design reviews; coding in C and Assembler; testing; verification reports
- Familiarity with FDA guidance on software development and international software standards
- Hardware experience in digital and interface circuit design; component selection, evaluation and creation of circuit schematic; creation of bill of materials and procurement of components for prototypes; management of prototype builds, board bring-up and debug
- Design for EMC performance, and testing to international electronics standards (EMC/LVD etc)
- Design and integration of software and hardware interfaces for sensors, controllers and displays
- Able to create documentation including: quality plan and FMEA; requirements specification and design description; integration, verification and design validation plan; design review management and preparation of records
