Embedded Software Engineer, Contract, 6 months - 1 year, Rate: £35ph - £40ph
Location: Cambridgeshire (commutable fromCambridge, Royston,Bedford,Peterborough,Northampton,Kettering,Stevenage)
The Role
Hot off the press with a brand new and very exciting role! We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work for a world class organisation right at the forefront of digital printing. You will be working one projects around digital printing technologies. The role will involve 2 projects, first being on a Windows CE platform and second being on VXworks. The software development is on large systems so you will need to have experience of development on 32/64 bit processors.
Requirements
- C/C++, multi-threading, visual studio 200x;
- Windows CE operation system (must), Linux;
- UBoot or Eboot experience; Embedded c/c++ experience with large processor 32/64 bits;
- Webserver for live data and image/video, TCP/IP, remote access;
- Image compress experience in JEPG or similar extremely beneficial
