EMEA Credit Project Manager – Product & Platform Team – Based in Geneva recruitment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Project Manager to join the Product Platform team in Geneva.

Team Overview

The EMEA Credit Product Platform team is focused on delivering high impact products and solutions for the International Private Bank (IPB). The team works in conjunction with the credit groups across the front office, risk management, operations, technology, middle office and marketing. The team is also responsible for delivering the infrastructure to manage and report the Credit exposure inherent in any product the Private Bank may offer.

 Role Outline

The EMEA business is expanding both onshore and offshore in a number of markets. This will involve understanding the Credit product palette, regulatory environment, documentation, client segments and devising and implementing an operating model for Credit in these markets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating across multiple operating platforms and multiple regulatory jurisdictions to analyse and deliver Credit risk management capabilities and new product offerings, covering:

-Legal regulatory requirements

-Impact on front office trading/analytics systems

-Mid and back office operations ramifications

-Credit monitoring requirements

-Financial (business demand assessment)

-Client statements and reporting

-Credit risk reporting requirements

-Training and rollout of new tools

-Management and prioritization of defects

-Ensuring International PB needs are addressed in the Corporate Credit Infrastructure

• Leading new product offering approval process/ discussions at new product approval committee meetings

• Ensuring results are delivered on-schedule, in-scope and on-budget

• Developing and managing project plans and high level updates for senior management

• Providing PB-wide communications on project status, issues and impact to the business

• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate key messages, and simplify complex business situations
