EMEA Finance Business Analyst recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare local GAAP accounts for a number of EMEA Entities - including transition from US GAAP (General Ledger) to UK GAAP/IFRS.

• Assist in the preparation of the group VAT return.

• Daily review of the branch accounts to identify unusual postings and to simplify the quarterly reviews of the numbers.

• Assisting in the project to move IBIS from posting to a different sub ledger.

• Building a process to capture non USD journals and informing treasury to put hedges in place for these amounts.

• Review and update our sub ledger (IBIS) policies and procedures.

• Review certain GL accounts within our sub ledger (IBIS) to understand their makeup and put procedures in place to monitor these on a regular basis.

• Ensure that postings to the general ledger in respect of transfer pricing agree to transfer pricing policy.

• Ownership of tasks within the daily, monthly and quarterly financial control processes across the EMEA entities.

• Provide leave of absence cover for the production of other deliverables within the team.

The successful candidate will have:

• Significant experience in a finance function within financial services.

• Good technical accounting skills, with an understanding of US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS.

• A financial control mindset.

• Self motivated with the ability to work independently with a team structure.

• Strong Excel skills.

• Previous audit experience (not essential).

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualifications
