EMEA Finance Manager

As the company continues to grow, an exciting job opportunity has arisen for an EMEA Finance Manager to join the team in High Wycombe.

Reporting to the EMEA Finance Director this is a high profile position, which will play a pivotal role in the next phase of MaritzCX’s development.

Working with the Finance Director, this job will entail driving improvements in processes and systems across the EMEA business to simplify and improve reporting and analysis to enable the business to fully understand its drivers and performance as it continues to grow. This is likely to include developing or redesigning KPIs and dashboards as well as Board reports.

You will be responsible for the periodic reporting and review of budgets and forecasts, sales reporting and revenue recognition and will work closely with senior business managers on new and retention contracts as well as sales pipeline reporting.

You will spend most of your time in the EMEA head office in High Wycombe, but you will also be required to travel to Germany in the region of 6 times a year to work closely with German colleagues.

The business has recently implemented a new ERP system and the EMEA Finance Manager will also be a systems change manager for the business.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate is likely to be a graduate calibre, qualified accountant who has experience of working in the technology sector. Ideally you will have worked in a multi site, international business which has undergone a period of change.

You will be able to demonstrate that you have improved processes and procedures and can work with both finance and non-finance teams in a fast moving business. You will have strong systems skills and are likely to be an advanced user of Excel. Experience of revenue recognition and US GAAP would be advantageous but is not a pre requisite.

You will be able to show that you have the flexibility to deal with both the hands on and more complex issues that arise as result of working in a small finance team in a rapidly growing business and a second European language (particularly German) would be very beneficial.

In return, Maritzcx are offering a salary of c£55,000 - £65,000, and competitive benefits package including pension, healthcare and free parking. This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre candidate to make a real impact on a growing business.
