EMEA Finance Shared Services Manager Job in Torquay TQ13DE, South West UK
Aaron Wallis Finance is currently recruiting a Finance Shared Services Manager for a client based in Torquay.
In the role of Finance Shared Services Manager you will be responsible for centralising transactional finance activities in Torquay in parallel with the implementation of the IFS system, using standard processes including:
o Accounts payable
o Accounts receivable
o HSBC Invoice Finance reporting
o Expense claims
o Preparation of VAT returns
o Bank reconciliations
o Intercompany accounts
•Recruit, manage and develop the FSS team of c10 FTEs
•Ensure that effective risk mitigation is in place during transitions
•Maintain high standards of internal control over transactional finance
•Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure that service delivery is fully aligned with business needs
•Introduce appropriate operational metrics to monitor and improve accuracy and efficiency of FSS activities
•Continuous improvement programme to simplify and automate processes, for better quality at lower cost
The successful candidate will need to be degree educated and Qualified Accountant either ACCA/CIMA or extensive relevant experience. Strong people management skills and experience of successful change management in essential and with strong IT and excellent communication skills.
