Our client is a major actor in RD in FMCG sector is looking for an EMEA Financial Analyst.

Job Description

Your main purpose in to ensure a successful and accurate reporting within the EMEA Financial team ? to achieve this, you are responsible for reporting and monitoring technology project activity and expenses ? you also assist in monitoring key performance indicators important to the Function ? you play a key role in budgeting, management reporting and allocation of costs to internal BU clients ? In addition to that, you actively participate in ensuring compliance with audit trail documentation and requirements for government grants and subsidies ? you will contribute in helping us migrate to new systems that will impact the global technology function.

You report to the Technology Controller EMEA

Major Tasks:

- Management reporting on budget and actual expenses:

- Monthly closing cost allocation by activity/Project

- Provide input for 3B/ EBITDA

- Technology expenses, headcount analysis

- Reporting to Business Unit, Technology Job Family EU management, global controller

- Quarterly works council report

- EU capital spending control and reporting

· Assist controller with the annual budget process.

· Assist controller with various strategic projects and process improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

·University degree in accounting, finance, business administration or economics

- At least 4 years of working experience within a financial department

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Experience in Cognos, TM1, Maximo, JD Edwards or Microsoft Project is a plus.

- Fluency in English and another European language is required.

- Good at dealing with complexity and ambiguity

- Self-starter

- Willingness to take initiative

- Team player; ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams

- Fast learner

- Action oriented; able to proactively identify and resolve problems

- Strong analytical skills and accuracy in work

- Proven experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines, and to handle multiple tasks in parallel

- Creativity and innovative approach in building and/or improving systems and processes
