EMEA Financial Planning Analysis Manager

For the EMEA Region, with approximately 3000 employees and a turnover of $ 1.300 million, we are looking to hire an EMEA FPA Manager who will report into the EMEA Controller FPA and BU Support. The FPA Manager will manage a team of (senior) analysts.
The position
The FPA Manager plays a key-role in:
- Reporting of the monthly results of the region to the Finance Director; EMEA Leadership
and Corporate Headquarter
- Coordination of the FPA processes across the Region
- Coordination with EMEA Finance Shared Service regarding accounting and reporting
requirement
- Talent development of the Finance organization
Beside a coordination role, the EMEA FPA manager has direct responsibility for the finance support to the EMEA Functional Directors, a sub set of the Business units and Operations / Supply Chain organization. The FPA Manager oversees a team of 5 (senior) analysts of which one is a permanent STIR (Short term international Rotation) position. In additional the team has an intern position during the October – February.
The EMEA FPA manager maintains relationships and interacts on a regular basis with:
- EMEA Finance Director
- HQ Finance (Corporate and business unit finance)
- Functional directors for HR, IT, Legal, Operations / Supply Chain
- EMEA Product Management

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Master degree in Business Administration/Economics, Finance or equivalent; (CPA, RA,
RC, MBA is preferred).
- Approximately 8-10 years relevant experience in a(n) (international) finance role;
- Relevant experiences in an international environment;
- Proven track record in improving a high quality Finance organization;
- Managerial experience is a plus;
- Experience with ERP and other financial systems (i.e. SAP, Hyperion, HFM) is a plus;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
- Business fluency in English;
- Good analytical skills;
- Able to overview complex processes;
- Sound critical, persuasive attitude and has good business sense;
- Hands-on, result-oriented, pro-active attitude.
