JOB TITLE: EMEA Head of Business Logistics and Costs Efficiency

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks:
- 1 - Sourcing manager for EMEA with worldwide responsibilities on some procurements segments.
- Procurement for services products including establishment and management of Process and Procedure attached.
Utilize combined purchasing power as that of SG/CA-CIB in appropriate cases, to secure substantial savings for the firm,
Ensure permanent review of market evolution and competition to propose and provide state of the arts services level to NEWEDGE
under a costs efficiency approach.
Contract management with usage of a dedicated IS (Contract Assistant).

- 2- Improve or set up adequate procedures within BL for all its activities perimeter that will ensure correct processes and permanent supervision within company standards, Financial regulations and being coherent within global BL process and principles,
- Manage the current policies that fall under BL EMEA , specifically the local TE policy,

- 3 – Responsibility and management of the IS attached to TE – Concur system that services all NEWEDGE, being the global point of Contact for this vendor and within NEG.

- 4- Improve Financial management of Sourcing and BL activities, deliver ad hoc reporting + dashboard for the Region,

- 5 – Budget management and performance follow-up for YTD,

- 6 – Proactive communication to Management and internal clients

- 7 Real Estate market watch and liaison with landlords, and FM vendor if applicable, plus all services attached to offices such insurance.

Responsibilities:

1- Team management
Management Reporting on Spend across areas responsible for.
- Office Services including
o Archiving and storage
o Fax and copiers, supplies and services
o Reception/Front of House
o Office Physical security
o Post/mail services
o Facilities maintenance
o Business cards and stationery (inc Printed)
o Corporate credit cards
- Corporate car leases purchases; parking facilities; car services
- Recruitment
- Travel
- Telecom/Market Data and all IT standard services (liaison with IT as appropriate)
- Coordination with Global Business Logistics Team (Americas APAC)

SUPERVISION DUTIES:

Direct Reports = 5 (3 London. 2 Paris), plus outsourced staff and liaison with entities in EMEA where BL has no direct footprint on the Ground.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Skills:

Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Good IT skills : : excel suite with macros functions knowledge practice
Experience of liaising with and reporting to Senior Management
Good Communication Skills able to Share information, Knowledge and experience
Team Working (Act as One Team)

Experience:
Extensive knowledge Iin management control and accounting: costs translation in PL , cash PL view, TCO for services or a function,…
Sourcing experience in CIB Banking or services industry, IT sourcing experience in various size companies
Change management: costs management plans and company reorganisation, or downsizing,
Good experience of Facilities Real Estate Management, and Corporate office Services
