EMEA IT Risk Compliance Manager, ED level – Tier 1 Investment Bank, City c£130,000
My client is one of the most prestigious Tier 1 Investment Banks in the world. They are searching for a high caliber candidate to join the business in a time of strategic growth. This challenging role will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of a comprehensive IT Risk and Compliance Programme across a range of business lines in EMEA. To achieve this outcome the role will need to develop strong working relationships across each line of business risk team, audit and compliance functions.
Reporting to the Head of IT Risk and Security, you will be responsible for shaping the Global IT Risk and Security Strategy, Policy Development, including both global and regional risk mitigation programmes. Your key responsibilities will be to manage and run regional IT Risk and Security Committees and associated processes, manage regulatory and legal engagement activities that relate to IT Risk and Security, promote and improve awareness and communication around key security threats etc. and participate in firm-wide and industry-wide forums and working groups. You will have extremely good communication skills with the gravitas to liaise with global senior stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you will have come from an IT background within Financial Services especially within IT Risk roles with a qualification to support (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC etc.). It is critical that candidates have demonstrable understanding within regulatory compliance within EMEA. Broad knowledge of Operational Risk, Information Security, Business Continuity and Disaster recovery will be utilized within this position. To stand out against the crowd you may have knowledge of industry process, control and risk frameworks such as ITIL, CoBIT, ISO2700x, COSO, and CRISC. This is a senior role and will require you to demonstrate your previous success within IT Risk and Security roles.
