EMEA Payroll Manager

TEMPORARY PAYROLL MANAGER - CENTRAL LONDON - £350 - £500 per day

A large multinational client is looking for a well established and experienced Payroll Manager to add value to their business. They are looking for someone to start at short notice. The requirements are listed below:

Looking for a person with experience in Analysis, BPO services, Process improvement, International Payroll, System migrations/projects

Support the programme’s deployment by acting as the lead subject-matter expert for Payroll processes and integrations.
• Influence the simplification of payroll operations through the introduction of a standardised set of business processes.
• Lead introductory sessions with each country to present the programme and its Workday template.
• Participate in fit/gap analyses between current payroll processes, legacy payroll processes.
• Understand any payroll impacts within dependent non-Workday supporting technology and systems.
• Work with the functional leads to gather, document, and validate requirements for configuration of Workday modules, related reports, and any supporting systems where interdependencies exist with payroll processes.
• Support the design of payroll integrations, ensuring that these are fit for purpose.
• Providing guidance on payroll best practices whilst ensuring alignment to the programme.
• Lead the payroll project and operational team resources through the execution of Unit Test, Systems Testing, Service Rehearsal and Parallel Run Testing cycles.
• Support development of detailed training materials and work instructions for end users.
• Lead the co-ordination of payroll cut-over activities.
• Provide post-go-live critical care support.

Key skills
• Understands the system development life-cycle (requirements gathering, gap analysis, design, build, testing, and go-live).
• Experience in deploying and supporting entire end-to-end payroll process cycles.
• Understanding and exposure to payroll services.
• Able to functionally design, configure / test and payroll integrations.
