EMEA SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
EMEA SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (B2B) required for leading disaster recovery business - West London.
The EMEA SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER role is a newly created position - you will be responsible for executing my client's social media strategy for the B2B products across EMEA. This is an exciting opportunity for a PR, social media or online marketing specialist with 3-5 years’ experience in B2B technology.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage my client's social media plan for B2B products in EMEA. Immediate priorities being UK, Germany and France
- Create and deliver campaigns and promotions for social media channels
- Work closely with marketing and PR to increase awareness of my client's products within businesses
- Successfully build and manage online channels including twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and others, supporting and guiding local PR representatives
- Be responsible for monitoring forums and social media outlets for mentions of my client and providing responses to comments, utilizing Support, Marketing and PR business divisions
- Summarize and provide regular feedback to Product Marketing and Development about quality of my client's products and suggested enhancements/new features
- Work with the online marketing team to ensure social media efforts increase SEO and lead generation
- Research and create central database of bloggers and work with the PR team to provide a targeted influencer programme
- Assist the PR team and online marketing team in writing content for campaigns and products ensuring it can be easily integrated into social media channels
- Optimize websites (and possibly products) for social media tools (liking, sharing, etc), as well as investigate possibilities of creating my client's own social channel
- Assist the PR business division in building and marketing blog
- Create a conversational calendar for social channels
- Develop strong KPIs to measure the ongoing success of the programme and create reports for senior management
Skills / Requirements
- Have two to five years’ experience in a public relations, social media or digital marketing agency running B2B campaigns, preferably technology
- Achieved an IT, (online) marketing or public relations degree
- Speak fluent English. Additional languages beneficial (German or French)
- Be technically competent and have a genuine interest and excellent understanding of technology. The person must be able to work with support and development and understand the technical details of my client's product set.
- Demonstrate a real understanding and passion for social media, ideally having created and run their own blog and having an understanding of technical communities
- Excellent copy writer with attention to detail
- Must be a driven, self starter who will be able to establish an entire programme and processes from scratch
- Excellent project and programme management skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure, managing resources and several projects simultaneously
