The Role

The Global Recruitment team at Bloomberg is looking to expand to continue to meet the needs of a consistently growing organisation.

As an integral part of the professional development team, you will manage the identification and direct sourcing of talent for a range of roles across all our departments across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The recruitment sourcing team has responsibility to identify talent externally, manage the flow of candidates and successfully increase this through strategic sourcing, vacancy marketing, networking and brand building for Bloomberg LP. You will ensure a smooth recruitment process and work with all Business Recruiting Partners to ensure an improved candidate experience. Gaining knowledge of the range of vacancies, understanding of the departments and building up contacts within the industry, you will become a credible asset, adding value to the recruitment process at Bloomberg, specifically with our Financial Products, Research and Development and Sales teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with the business recruiting partners and business managers to understand vacancy briefs and offer strategic advice.

- Sourcing candidates directly through industry networking and direct head hunting.

- Posting vacancies to appropriate websites and print publications to ensure a cost effective and successful recruitment marketing campaign for Bloomberg LP.

- Managing the recruitment process including reviewing CVs, arranging tests.

- Creating and hosting career events including recruitment fairs/presentations and diversity/in-house events.

- Working on ad hoc projects as required for the benefit of the Global Recruitment Team.

Requirements:

- Previous recruitment and research/direct sourcing experience managing the full recruitment life cycle is required.

- A broad understanding and experience of working with or recruiting for positions within financial services space and knowledge of the business landscape across the region are important.

- Experience of using external networking tools and jobsites.

- Understanding of recruiting and HR concepts, policies and procedures.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and strong attention to detail is a must.

- Strong skill in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to learn additional programs as needed such as PeopleSoft.

- Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external candidates.

- Keen interest / knowledge of the financial markets beneficial.

- Previous in-house recruitment experience is beneficial not compulsory.
