Responsibilities:
Strong Project Leader / Business Process Analyst needed to support the implementation and rollout of comprehensive Transportation and other logistics related solutions within TE.
Requirement:
This individual will be responsible for providing business process support for Transportation and Foreign Trade projects. Position will involve working closely with key business users, gathering data to support project recommendations, coordinating EMEA deployments and gathering / consolidating enhancement requests. Additional responsibilities include:
- TMS software configuration
- Integration of TMS software with SAP
- On-site participation in EMEA TMS implementations
- Development of a project plan timeline for EMEA-wide deployment
- Site Implementation training / support (including testing, specifications, mapping)
- Tracking Project Status / Budget and communicating results to executive management
Competencies Experience Required/Desired:
Required:
- Understanding of SAP delivery processing (SD, WM).
- Strong project management, communication and organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter, quick learner, and be willing to learn new areas.
- Must have experience as a project leader, leading cross functional teams, task management skills, and achieving quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration.
- Prior experience in working with warehouse / logistics processes
- Minimum 8 years of IT business process, systems analysis, and project management experience required.
- Strong problem solving capabilities. Results oriented. Relies on fact-based logic for decision-making.
- Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time. Must be able to deliver results based upon project deadlines.
- Experience working in a global organization a plus. Must be able to travel worldwide and will flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications. Travel (~25%) within EMEA. Some travel outside EMEA based on project needs.
- Ability to provide effective written communications and project management documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred :
- Prior experience in implementing transportation / logistics software.
- Forwarder/carrier integration experience
- Experience implementing JDA “Transportation Manager / Transportation Planner” modules
Educational Required/Desired:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Logistics OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.
