Emergency Call Handler

A fantastic opportunity has a risen for an Emergency Call Handler,  to join a large local organisation who are a market leader within their field. This will be a long term temp job, ongoing until February/March 2014.

You will be responsible for:
* Receiving inbound calls
* Continually liaising with engineers, contractors and customers to resolve any problems/queries they may have.
* Managing and prioritising workload, ensuring you oversee a problem from start to finish.
* Providing excellent customer service.
* Handling any queries.
* Work well under pressure and ensure that any situations that occur you are able to come up with suitable solution.

The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
* Strong IT skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Experience in an inbound call centre would be ideal.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent is preferred.

Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 9am until 5pm. As the winter months draw in, you will be required to be flexible in your shifts, potentially working until 7pm.
