Emergency Department Nurse
Agency staff are an integral part of the smooth running of the NHS, and Hays help ensure a high level of care can be provided to patients, when otherwise there would be staff shortages.
There is currently an extreme shortage of A E nurses as a result there are a lot of available agency shifts which require your cover.
Hays have excellent relationships with NHS Hospitals in Yorkshire and we use this relationship to ensure all our agency staff are well looked after. For example, prior to any placement we will ensure you are provided with an induction, so that you can be familiar with your working environment, allowing you to work safely effectively. This induction can be refreshed as often as required and will be conducted separately to the 'handover'.
We work with Leeds , York, Dewsbury other Hospitals locally and will be happy to book you in your hospital of choice. We endeavour to book you in as fewer locations as possible so that you can become familiar with each ward and the other members of staff working with you in the emergency department.
For this role we are looking for an experienced AE nurse with previous NHS experience who will be able to adjust quickly to the new environment. You must also have a valid NMC pin number to be eligible.
