We are currently looking for an Emergency Management Coordinator to manage all aspects of the Emergency Management Program including the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of the Hospital Emergency Management Plan. Responsibilities: Overseeing the development of deliverables, policies and guidelines for NIMS/HEICS compliance Tracking and documenting all expenditures for HPP funding Ensuring that the hospital conducts functional exercises to meet The Joint Commission, HPP and FEMA requirements Managing system-wide emergency communication plans Managing the preparedness for HPP Grant period Acting as a liaison between JHBMC and Local, State and Federal agencies such as CEPAR, DHMH and FEMA and other hospitals to identify and implement best practices Performing information gathering and vulnerability analysis Participating on hospital Emergency Management and Safety Committees We offer our staff one of the best pay and benefits packages in the field, including tuition reimbursement for you and your dependents. Job Requirements Bachelorrsquo;s degree in a related field Current CHEP certification Four or more years of previous experience in Emergency Management Regional Training in NIMS (NIMS 700) and HEICS Working knowledge of acute communicable disease control, bio-terrorism response, documentation procedures, government (local, state and federal) regulations and roles in disaster response Healthcare experience preferred
