-- Emergency Management Planner, Senior-01113892 Description Key Role: Provide support as an operational planner for emergency management preparedness and disaster operations planning. Ensure close coordination between the respective staffs to optimize performance and cross-functional expertise. Coordinate performance, measurement, and reporting and minimize cost expenditures. Manage projects with 10 staff, multiple subcontractors, and consultants. This position is located in Seattle, WA. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -8 years of experience in emergency management preparedness with disaster operations planning -Experience in a supervisory and team leadership role -Experience with the management of government contracts -Knowledge of emergency management preparedness programs and principles -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications -Knowledge of medical planning a plus -Ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously -BA or BS degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field -Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Designation preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
